On behalf of the Transportation committee, we are striving to make your travels as smooth as possible. There are a few things that we request from you before you arrive in Atlanta.
ARRIVAL
Please plan to fly into Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The best time to arrive is early afternoon (12-2) on Friday and best time to leave is after 2:00pm on Sunday. For those who will make it in time, we will post information on Jummah prayer.
The Wyndham has its own shuttle service. It is located in Peachtree City, GA, which is approximately 30 minutes away from the airport.
Shuttle to the Hotel:
$38 + tax (1-way) Estimated cab fee: $65 (1 way)
Shuttle hours are from 7am until 11pm and reservations must be made 72 hours
in advance. Reservations may be made outside of regular hours but will cost
extra. Shuttle leaves the lobby every hour on the hour.

ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS:
We will not be providing alternative transportation for those arriving and
departing before the retreat, during the conference or at wee-hours of the
morning.
IF DRIVING IN:
If you are planning to drive, the best time to arrive is Friday around 2:00pm. Room rates for those arriving on Thursday is $109+taxes ($61.04 for 2 people/double occupancy). The Retreat begins at 3:30pm on Friday. Check in is at 3pm but guests may be able to check in earlier if rooms are available.
DEPARTURE
FROM RETREAT:
We are currently researching the best price for one 55 passenger bus. We
expect the fee to be $10-$15 per person. We are working to arrange for a
1 bus pick up from the airport at approximately 1:30pm on Friday (subject
to change until finalized) and depart the Wyndham on Sunday by 12 noon back
to the airport. The airport is approximately 30 minutes away.
AIR & GROUND TRANSPORTATION:
We encourage you to compare rates by checking for the lowest rates by contacting
expedia.com, travelocity.com, hotwire.com, delta.com, airtan.com, cheaptickets.com,
and others such as Holiday Travel, Bro. Kenneth Muhammad @ 404-669-9085.
Please contact Holiday Travel for information regarding airfare and vehicle rentals ONLY. Direct all inquiries related to the retreat to the retreat staff (singlesretreat@noi.org)
If you plan
to rent a vehicle, you can get the best rates by arranging an airfare/car
rental package.
TRAVEL TIPS:
Please try not to over pack. If you have more than 2 checked bags, you will
be charged extra if flying. Due to increasing fuel costs, some airlines
now charge $25 for 1 bag. We recommend:
-1 purse and/or small
carry on AND -One suitcase/bag
Tipping:
Typically, you should offer a tip (average) of $1- $2 per bag for a sky
cap
$1 to $3 for those
transporting you (Please tip the driver)
Dining out: 15% to 18%
Hotel stay (Housekeeping): $2 - $5 per day – Please Tip!
